Slouchy Separates

Wearing: Dress c/o Blue Vanilla Kurt Geiger boots ASOS bag H&M hat Vintage blazer

I dug out this blazer a while ago when I wore it in one of the outfits from my McArthur Glen lookbook. It's a vintage one I've had for a little while but I just love the slightly oversized cut and slouchy shape, so I thought it would be really nice to throw over this sacky dress from Blue Vanilla. It's the Rita grey tunic dress which retails at £18, it's a lovely soft jersey fabric with a v neck, something I don't usually go for, but without a jacket over the top it it quite a wide necked style and looks really cool on. I think it would be really nice to wear in the summer when it's warmer, I'd definitely pair it with ballet pumps then but as the weather is so changeable at the moment I had to reach for socks and ankle boots!

Ah, ankle boots. Just when I think I've found the perfect pair, I find another must have style. My friend and fellow blogger Tara has a pair of leopard print boots from Next and they look amazing on her, but have sold out unfortch as I did want to steal her style! I managed to track these Kurt Geiger lookalikes down on eBay and I love them. I wear so many neutral tones, they definitely bring a bit of sass to a look. They also have a completely manageable heel, too; it's low and blocky, I wore these for a day around London recently and they were so comfortable.

I do feel a bit self conscious with my pins out as they are not my favourite body part and whilst I have been working hard with my yoga and dance to tone them up, I think they could still use a bit of work! It's always difficult at the start of summer when your legs are white as a pint of milk and haven't seen the sun for half a year or so, they never look their best! I'm a hopeless case with fake tan as well, no matter how good the product is I can never manage to stop it looking streaky so for now, my white legs will have to suffice!

The weather has once again influenced my hat choice as the balmy weather of last week has been replaced with a decidedly chillier affair, and there is such a breeze at the moment my favourite straw hat feels like it's about to take off at any given moment. However I'm not complaining; I'd much rather it be a bit blustery and still sunny than raining!

Don't forget to check out the full range of lovely summery goodness over on the Blue Vanilla website here!
