#Stylemynight with Fever London

Skirt and top c/o Fever London ASOS coat Vintage boots H&M faux fur

When I was contacted by Fever London with a styling challenge I jumped at the chance to take part! The premise was to style an outfit for a night out, pitted against several other bloggers who would be doing the same! I couldn't wait to get started!

I was very kindly sent a couple of items from their website to style. This amazing navy Bella skirt was the first thing I chose; not quite (but almost) midi length, it's so flattering and a lovely colour. I also chose a sweet top to wear it with; this gold crochet Lula top is just gorgeous and the metallic element adds a pretty vintage vibe to my look.

I do have quite specific style I suppose and whilst I loved this skirt and top combo, I was never going to wear it with strappy sandals and a clutch bag (not that there's anything wrong with that!) but it's not my personal look and I wanted to make this outfit as much a representation of me and my style as possible. Hence, out comes the leopard print! A duster coat is ideal for chucking on for evening because it's not too heavy and can actually complement, rather than completely covering, your outfit.

I added a bit of faux fur for some extra glam, and reached for my trusty vintage ankle boots to give the pretty skirt a little more edge. I love the mixture of colours, textures and prints; I don't usually choose to wear colour but I feel that this combination works well, and I love the overall look!

I would wear this for evening drinks out with friends or even to a works Christmas party. It's festive and pretty whilst still in keeping with my own style.

If you love my look, you can vote for it via Facebook here. Every person who votes will be entered into a prize draw to win £200 of Fever London vouchers, so it's a great opportunity to potentially win your Christmas party look!
