My love for all things minimal is rumbling on and the latest focus of my obsession are these beautiful sandals. I have a pair of really simple sandals by Jonak which you'll have seen if you follow my instagram (@amieisdancing) and I love the elegant and chic element that really simple shoes can bring to a look and so I can't wait to invest in these.
They're by a brand called JB Martin, a Parisian lable whose business has grown since 1921. Of course, the fact that they're French makes me adore them all the more, such is my enchantment with all things Francais!
There's something about an ankle cuff that adds just the right amount of edge and interest to a sandal; what I love about this pair is the gorgeous coral orange piping around the edge which will add a much needed pop of colour to my monochrome looks. I thought that with an oversized grey knit and a skinny white pant, these would work really well and not overshadow any other accessories or jewellery I wanted to wear. Equally I might also try them with a skirt but you have to be careful of ankle cuffs cutting your legs into stumps! And I don't have the nicest legs so it might be safest to play them with skinny trousers!
They also come in a nude shade which will also work really well for summertime; I'm just too into monochrome at the moment to consider anything else but black!
What do you think of these chic and simple sandals from Spartoo?
