Petula ballerinas by Fericelli at Spartoo UK
As soon as there's the merest sniff of spring in the air, my thoughts immediately turn to ballet shoes. I love ballet shoes, I would go so far as to say I am obsessed. Behold, then, the object of my obsession lately: The Petula by Fericelli.
I know these might divide opinion, but I adore them. I think they look both classy and chic, and I will wear them with a skinny trouser and a silk blouse with a boucle jacket thrown over all day long. They come in a range of colours and skins, but personally these caramel creme ones just sing out to me as being the colour that I would wear the most. Saying that, though, ever since the demise of my perfect black ballet pumps last season, I've been looking for a replacement and these come in black too so....!
I love that little square buckle on the toe, I love the slightly squared off shape, the high cut front and that supple soft leather upper. I know it's a bloggers prerogative to wear the highest possible heels all the time but I have to admit I am definitely more of a flats girl, these days especially since I walk everywhere, they are a necessity!

really nice ballet flats, the patent ones are especially nice! can't go wrong with a good pair, have to admit i'm waiting for the weather to get a whole lot better so I can get the Chanel ballet flats out (although I'm mildly terrified of ruining my stupid purchase)
