Wearing: Gap jumper, Vintage leather skirt bought from Urban Outfitters, Zara shoes
It's so funny; I'm not a skirt person at all but lately I have really be drawn to the shape and style of a little pelmet. I don't know why, I used to be all about the trousers and I didn't even own a skirt, now I have 3-this leather one, an APC check print one, and a Zara boucle one. I am going to the Bristol Blogger's meet up tomorrow (so excited! Are you coming?!) and I'm sure a spot of shopping will be on the cards, so I might even raise my skirt count to 4. (via the sales mind!)
Speaking of sales, there are some real bargains to be had out there at the moment, and I am looking forward to seeing what I can turn up in the last little scraps. I don't mind the end of sales because I don't mind a little scratch about for a bargain, the prices are always the best and whilst sizes and items are limited, you can always turn out a gem or two.
This jumper is one I gave my mum and then sneaked back (thanks mum, I always do this!) but I love the shape, and the way it sits so nicely over the skirt. Weather permitting I'll probably wear something like this tomorrow-I tend to wear jeans and trousers to work as I do a lot of visual work which involves climbing up and down ladders and in and out of windows, so skirts aren't always practical. I do love this look though so I will endeavour to wear them more often outside of work time!
