I managed to get my paws on this new mascara from the lovely people over at Rimmel. It's the new Day 2 Night Mascara which has been all over the press just lately, as modeled by the glorious Zooey Deschanel. Love her and love the campaign, also, unsurprisingly, love the product too. I do like a Rimmel Mascara; they always seem to come up with products that have little quirks but still deliver, and this one is no exception.
The mascara has two caps, and depending on which cap you use, you get different results. The black cap gives extra length; stretching the lashes for a really well defined day look. The pink cap gives up to 15x more volume which is perfect for creating dramatic night time eye looks.
I used the pink cap to add volume and then combed through a second coat with the black cap to lengthen and stretch my lashes. The mascara glides on really well; it doesn't clump and it is really easy to apply. The two caps give extra choice in one wand so you can really easily determine the look you want. The product defines lashes and stays put all day. In my next post you'll see some photo's of the mascara being worn so you can decide for yourself!
I also love the packaging....nerdy I know but it looks so glam in my makeup bag!
