Picks of the Week from USC

I checked out the USC website the other day which is something I haven't done in a couple of weeks, and I was pleasantly suprised! It's so nice when the sales are all over and lovely new season stock has landed on site, it's a treat for the eyes!

The first thing I clocked was this gorgeous pair of boots. Obviously shearling boots were a huge trend for the winter but this pair, with the buckle and stacked heel, will be perfect for channelling the boho/70's vibe that is set to be huge for SS11. Imagine them worn with bare legs and denim cut offs...perfect festival footwear! By Abandon, they cost £75.

I also fell hard for this lovely Bernie bag by Mischa Barton. It's cross body strap and top handle, plus envelope style closure, make it the perfect day-to-night bag...neutral enough to compliment any outfit, with luxe gold hardware and glossy finish. It costs £45 and will become the hardest working handbag you own!

This fabulous Club L cape tee is another piece that will make you staple skinnies instantly new-season-worthy. The shape and graphic print are just the fixes you will need to modernise your look-and for just £25! Wrap a feather headband around your hair and chill out...

As every regular reader of my blog will know, I am a Trouser Girl. I am making an effort to wear more dresses and skirts this year, but I can't help my trouser addiction, and garments like these Camy Trousers only feed it more! They are by Vila and will inject a little smartness into your spring look. Ditch boring black trews and pair these with a cream blouse and a pair of neon courts for an effortless look that is so on trend right now. They cost £30 and are worth every penny!

I long to be achingly hipster enough to wear something like this. Can you imagine Karlie Kloss, Freja or Giselle working something like this at Coachella Festival? They would style it with a battered boyfriend jacket and oversized shades, I imagine. Work the grunge look in this amazing dress by Vero Moda, which costs just £25. For the less brave among us (me!) it also comes in a vest version which, worn with ankle boots and cut offs, will still add a slice of Americana to your spring look.

And, lest we forget that, though Spring seems to be in the air, even when it's sunny in blighty it can be blimming freezing. Prepare for this eventuality with this supercute lightweight knit from Vila, which is aptly named the 'breeze' jumper. Slouchy and oversized, pair it with a harem trouser for a urban take, or try it over a denim shirt dress with little boots to add a bit of interest (and warmth!) and at only £25, you'll not only be warm, but nailing the 'hoop' (stripes are so last season, naturally!) micro-trend as well!
USC is a great website for finding all the latest pieces at great prices. You can mix and match across brands to create a look that is truly your own. I've only picked out a few pieces that I like, but they have thousands of pieces over on the site for you to choose from. So get shopping! To visit them click here! You can also check out their Facebook and Twitter pages where they offer style advice as well as running competitions!
