I don't normally make the habit of posing photos of ladies in their scanties on my blog, but I'll make an exception for my beautiful friend Rachel here. She's taking part in a modelling competition run by Curvy Kate, an lingerie retailer specialising in underwear for curvier figures and larger busted ladies.
Sadly, I'm not blessed with a full bust myself but having friends who do, and knowing the struggle they go through trying to find decent, supportive and pretty underwear, makes me think that Curvy Kate are onto a winner. My friend Rachel has made it into the top 30 of the model search and here is what she has to say:
" I have always been very self-critical, the term perfectionist has been used to describe me my entire life. But thankfully as I have developed so has my idea of perfection. I now see that beauty isn’t determined by weight or a dress size but by body confidence. Everyone assumes being curvy is a blessing, but having people constantly commenting on my figure, especially my boobs, made me very self-conscious and aware of how different I was growing up. It saddens me to think that I was so self-conscious for so long, and it saddens me more to think that others still feel that way. I want to show women of all ages that you don’t have to look perfect or compare yourself to anyone else to love yourself and your body! Yes, my boobs may always be the first thing many people see when they look at me, and yes, people will more than likely still comment on them. But it will no longer affect me in a negative way as I am completely comfortable with me, my curves and I. "
I for one think Rachel looks stunning and if you would like to vote for her, or find out more about Curvy Kate, click here.
