One of my New Year's resolutions (among others) is to try and post more frequently and also to be a more avid blog reader/commenter in 2013. It is really hard to find the time to fit it in, but I am going to make a bigger effort to do so in 2013. I am also going to try and spend less money on clothes I don't need in 2013-something I think I should aim for every year, but sadly never do. Just as well I have spent all my last pennies this month on clothes which will have to see me through until spring! I'm sure you'll be seeing some of my sale purchases soon!
I've actually photographed a "what's in my bag" with this handbag from Brand Village so you'll be seeing more of that soon. I just had to show you how it looks with this outfit which is a little bit 60's but I like it. I got the tights in the Topshop sale; they were £2 and I picked up a grey pair and a pumpkin orange pair too. 2013 is going to be about skirts, I think, so whilst the weather is vile and bare legs aren't an option, jazzy tights are the way forward!
These shoes are by Betty London at Spartoo and are the cutest little dolly shoes. I really wanted a pair of flat shoes that weren't ballet pumps, or were a little more stable than ballet pumps, just to wear every day, and these totally fit the bill. I love the gold heel which is so reminiscent of Charlotte Olympia's styling. I love everything about these and because they are black, I am going to wear them all the time, I know it!
What are your plans for New Year? Have you made any resolutions?
