I have really discovered internet shopping all over again just lately. I think going to London and seeing all the wonderful shops up there, that I don't have down here, has made me crave these 'different' places to shop and long for a different aesthetic. So in that vein, I've been doing a lot of web surfing to find my (new) favourite sites.
And one of those is My-Wardrobe, which can be viewed here. They stock an eclectic mix of designers from Ash to Mentor, Halston Heritage to D&G, Paul and Joe Sister to Twenty8Twelve. They are also one of the only stockists of the Winter Kate and House of Harlow 1960 lines by Nicole Richie, both of which provide stunning boho-inspired pieces with a tailored twist.
The site is really easy to use, I've bought from them before and they always deliver on quality and price. Clearly being a designer site it is going to be more expensive than any of the high street websites, but the range they stock covers all price points so whether you're treating yourself to a high priced purchase or simply picking up a 'fashion snack' the week before payday, you'll find something to sate your stylish appetite here.
All you need to do to start shopping is to sign up to the site, which is worth doing anyway as they'll then send you updates by email on new stock drops, flash sales, and any other offers. Once signed up you also become a member of the my-loyalty scheme, meaning that whenever you shop, you'll be rewarded with points for every pound you spend. When you reacha certain amount of points you are eligible for discounts, offers etc. Which is something of a rarity on internet shopping sites....usually you end up paying over the odds once you've factored in shipping costs, and so on.
Which brings me nicely to the 'extras' supplied by the site....they'll gift wrap your parcel for free (so it's like recieving a present when your new product comes, yay!) and for a small charge (£10) you can specify a delivery date should you so wish. If you live in the London area (lucky) you can choose to pay £15 for same day sprint delivery, perfect if you need your new items in a hurry. Regular shipping is £4.95 and returns are free.
In addition to all of this, the site is easy to navigate by product or designer, and you can also shop the sale section by discount which ranges from 50-70% off. The my-wishlist option allows you to save a dream 'list' of products you are lusting after which can then be forwarded to friends, family, boyfriend etc as a handy hint for presents! I use mine like a dream shopping list and then if I ever have a bit of spare cash (ha!) I would treat myself to something from it!
The site is well worth a look and if you're not completely hot on internet shopping or styling you can use the 'inspire me' features or the 'my blog' to give you a few ideas. A great all rounder with a strong web-based presence, my-wardrobe should definitely be on your list of online retailers to visit.
xoxo
