Taken When We Travelled At 55mph....

This outfit post is a late one from Thursday night that I thought I'd share with you. I went to watch the Boy's band play in a local town, we travelled in the tour bus (which is a rickety old ex-Royal Mail van which inexplicably lost 5th and reverse gear at once)...I love to refer to it as a 'tour bus' as it makes me feel like a rock star wife or something...needless to say, due to the 5th gear failure it took ages as we cruised down the motorway at 55mph the entire way. But it was worth it, the gig was great, and the boy looked HAWT in his trendy threads rocking a guitar on stage. A rather tiddly snake-hipped wench thought so too, as she single handedly attempted to dance, gyrate, high five and squat-thrust in front of every band member. Cripes. In addition, one of the band members had a twice-over stroke of bad luck involving 1st) the overhead lighting and 2nd) a broken bass strap. Props to his every-so-slick recovery though.

Back to my outfit! I am nodding to military again with this silk top which has bow strip details on the front and I love these pegged pants with the military buttons, I'm wearing them a lot at the moment!

Top: River Island, Cardigan: Topshop, Necklace: Bay, Trousers: Topshop, Shoes: Topshop

I am also wearing a vintage watch that actually works now and some Primark rings, gotta love them even though they've turned all my fingers green! I ended up switching my heels for flat shoes as we always have to walk miles when we go to any gigs and usually end up carrying equipment and standing about for ages so heels are really hard work. Glamorous life of a WAG? I think NOT! It is lovely though as there were 2 fellow WAGs with me that night so we could all hang out together and chat and have some drinks when the boys were busy. It was a lovely night and I can't wait for the next one :)
