More Attacks Of Plaid.....

Today I have managed to get the boy to take some snaps of me for my blog which was very considerate of him since I had to drag him out of bed to do so. Please excuse my ropey face/bed hair in these pictures, maybe focus on the clothes yesss please!!
It was worth the early start though as then we had a yummy breakfast before we both had to go to work, I swear the worst part of retail is working weekends!

Plaid Ruffle Blouse: Quiksilver Womens, Dress: Topshop, Tights: Primark, Boots: Topshop, Ring: Primark, Cuff: Freedom at Topshop, Necklaces: Gifts, Watch: Vintage, Belt: Topshop.
*Hair Flower and Cardigan in other pictures: Dorothy Perkins and Quiksilver Womens respectively.*

My outfit is a little similar to the past couple of days but I have been staying at the boy's with limited clothes so I've had to make the best of what I've got. I have a day off tomorrow, the first since last Sunday (!) so I'm excited to not have to wear work clothes! Im planning on rocking a 'Sports Luxe' look as I really want to wear the new tapered leg jogging bottoms I bought in Topshop last Sunday...I will post the photo's tomorrow evening for you all to see.

Hmm, some crayyyyzee hair going on here....and that QSW cardigan again..I have to confess, I live in it, it is soooo comfy, warm and lovely, and the colour is so versatile. I'm getting my moneys worth out of it...it was supposed to cost £90 but luckily I do get some staff discount...phew....!

There's a lot to be said for someone else taking your pictures...not having to faff about with mirrors being the biggest pro-point!

This outfit feels a bit Alexa again, a bit Peaches, Fearne...a bit 'grunge' which isn't usually my look at all but I want to smarten up for work, and this is about as smart as I can get without attracting funny looks! I work for a surf company so generally speaking the 'uniform' is hoodies and jeans but that's sooo not me, I think it looks great on most people but the nearest I get to a hoodie is when I wear one for my dance class, and that has diamonte's on the back so it is acceptable! And I would only wear it to dance in!! I just can't do 'casualwear', it is ironic that sports styles seem to be the next great hit for SS10, however I will always wear these styles on the smarter side, loose fabrics cinched in with pretty belts, and always with a heel. I shall be taking my tips from Versace, DKNY, and Stella McCartney. Yes please!

OOh and, compliment counter for the day: 1 (any from the boy don't count as he says lovely things to me alllll the time, bless him), but no, this compliment came from a colleague, a girl, and I think all us girls agree that compliments from the sisterhood mean soooo much more than compliments from men...don't you think?!
xoxo
